PAGE 3 favourites Danni and Amii proved they are way out in front when they lined up as grid girls at Silverstone.

Gorgeous blonde Danni caused a sensation when she stood on pole position in front of Sun-backed ace Jason Plato.

And curvy Amii was right beside her, locking out the front row as grid girl for Plato’s Sun SEAT team-mate Darren Turner.

Fans clamoured to have their pictures taken with our two stunners – and they were also a huge hit when they joined Plato and Turner for an autograph session in the pits.

Danni cheered Plato home as he stormed to victory in the first of Silverstone’s three British Touring Car Championship races.

And afterwards Plato said: "It has been a delight having Danni and Amii here – they’re a pair of crackers and great girls.

"At one point the circuit announcer was talking to me when Amii walked up behind. It completely threw him and he couldn’t say another word!"

Turner said: "Amii and Danni looked pretty good from where I was sitting in my car. Having The Sun girls here has been fantastic and a real morale-booster for the whole team."

Mini driver Danni said: "The weather was lousy but I had really good fun."

Amii, who drives a Mercedes sports car, said: "I have a need for speed and had a great day. Jason and Darren are really cool guys and I’d like to be their grid girl again. Let’s do it!"
