The England fly-half has been out since suffering a horror ankle injury last May — against Bath.
But Bath chief Steve Meehan warned: “If Danny is involved, we will put as much heat on him as we possibly can.
“It is a big game to come back in. It is a one-off match and we need to throw the kitchen sink at Wasps.”
Champions Wasps hope Cipriani can sting them into action after three defeats in four games.Bath sparkled against Warriors with Nick Abendanon, Michael Lipman, Joe Maddock, Shaun Berne and Duncan Bell scoring tries.
The new laws mean many games have been boring kicking affairs but Meehan added: “We must not be scared of going out and playing.
“We can’t go into our shells, even if the laws put you under pressure. The rewards over a season will outweigh the risks.”
