World Wrestling Entertainment
And it means his eagerly anticipated match with Chris Jericho at this Sunday’s Unforgiven PPV can go ahead.
Shawn told the WWE’s website: “Before the MRI my doctor was 99.9 percent sure that I had a full tear of my triceps and that I would experience bruising, swelling and a loss of my range of motion.
“Through the power of prayer, none of those things happened and I am ready for Unforgiven."
Michaels also revealed he was going to perform at the pay per view no matter what the result of the examination.
He confessed: “Regardless of what the MRI revealed, I made it clear that I was going forward with this match."
Michaels, regarded as the best in-ring performer of his generation, was feared to be out of action for four to six months should he have required surgery.
